完全な表現はありえない。 ８割でよしとすることにしよう。 このように考えないと、いつまでたっても完成しない。 実際のところ、あなたは生きている。 生きているということは考え方・技法・知識・経験がどんどん変化している ということだ。 しかしながら書かれた文章は変化しない。 ということは、 ここが気に食わない、あそこを修正したい、 という作業を永遠に続けることになってしまうではないか。
もちろん、その時点での最善は尽くそう。 よりよい表現を心がけよう。 でも、ある程度のところで、次に進もう。 ９９％の完成度に１０年かかるより、 ８０％の完成度に半年の方がよい場合がはるかに多いものだから。
